First and foremost, please know that your health and safety is our priority! We have all heard a lot of distressing news about the coronavirus (COVID-19). With confirmed cases in the Triangle, the stress can make us susceptible to fear and misinformation. Although First Step Services, LLC is taking the COVID-19 seriously, it is also our duty to ensure the people we serve, still have access to the services and support we offer
Please note, there have not currently been any positive test results for COVID-19, from any of our staff or people we serve, across any of our three locations.
As of this time, First Step will continue to provide groups, assessments and other appointments as scheduled, shifting mostly to telehealth options. For our limited onsite services, we have increased our sanitation efforts across all sites. Please be aware of the NC Department Of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. Our goal is to continue offering our services unless otherwise advised by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) or local partners.

Maintain Good Hygiene.
Washing your hands should be the norm, so continue doing what you’re doing. Try to avoid touching your face. And if you do feel unwell, please stay home.
Stay Calm.
More than anything, stay calm. Anxiety-inducing media coverage can be distressing. Relax, take necessary precautions, and look after yourself.
