To be honest I was looking forward to coming here and not. I knew it would be beneficial in my well-being and not because of the expense. Throughout this process I have appreciated being able to share my story and not being judged. My counselor Angela has been a breath of fresh air every group! There are several things I have taken away from this. One major one is being able to stay sober and find new ways to handle difficult situations. Meeting new people and even becoming friends with some has been great. I look forward to moving forward with my sobriety and living a much cleaner healthier life not just for my family, but for me! I would like to thank First Step and the members of the group for allowing me to share my truth in a safe space.
