The reason I was brought here was because when I lived in AZ, I was sniffing cocaine while driving to a party with a tail-light out. I got pulled over for the tail-light but, the officer was a part of a K9-unit and asked to search the car. I gave him consent and long story short I was charged with possession of cocaine with paraphernalia (baggies). I got out of jail time by being sentenced to nine months of diversion which means once I complete all the requirements, my charges ill be erased. Initially, I didn’t want to do the group sessions because I thought it was pointless and I don’t really like talking to people I don’t really like talking to people I don’t know, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought since we were all in there dealing with similar situations which helped me be more able to express myself without worrying about judgement, our counselor played a big part in this also by making us feel welcomed no matter what. Now, I am starting to think about my actions a lot more and want to start talking more instead of bottling things up.
