I thank God for the DWI charge

“My time here in group has been and uplifting experience. My first couple of nights I was thinking why am I here but as time went on I found myself among a group of people who were dealing with their own addictions. The willingness of each group member to share very private things about themselves was very amazing. There were stories told that lined up with some of the things I have been going through. I thank God for the DWI charge that has taken place in my life because I believe that if I had not gotten the DWI I probably would have continued to head down that wide path of destruction. Thank you First Step for offering a great group with great interaction with other group members. I have not had a drink since July 16, 2018.”
