What brought me to First Step was I wanted to get my license back. Initial impression was how friendly and professional everyone was and is from the beginning to the end. I learned that I’m not alone in this and that we all have things in common including one common goal. This experience taught me that you don’t have to drink or get drunk to have fun. What was most helpful was listening to others and hearing what they have to say cause it makes you believe no matter how hard headed you are, that in one way or another we all have something in common, as I said earlier. I am very greatful and humbled by my time here. I hope that you all here as a group, and the counselors, do well and help those who want it cause you have to want it first.
