I would like to thank the counselors and everyone for their support along this self-evaluating and journey of peace. I am now satisfied with who I am and not just content anymore. I’ve looked back at my life in a much more focused way and see all the years of trouble and pain that substance abuse has caused me and those close to me. Then, I thought I was having a good time when in reality I was just self destructing. Not realizing that there are greater things in life to be explored when you have a clean mind and sober body. Its not worth the guilt, pain, shame, and suffering returning to those old habits that controlled majority of my life for a very long time. I’m confident that I’m now back in control of my life and it feels wonderful to know that you can have a good life when you’re living a clean and sober lifestyle.
