Abuse is not the life I want for me and my children

Coming to First Step treatment program was tough at first. The program helped me to understand I need to rediscover who I am. I’ve allowed so many things to rob me from living. The program helped me to understand I don’t need alcohol to cope and the importance of self care. I also confessed and was honest with my triggers and toxins. With that in mind my ex-husband, I allowed to dive me into a pit. I realized that mental and emotional and physical abuse is not the life I want for me and my children. I am truly grateful for Kai making it uncomfortable for me so I could deal with my issues.
